BLs (Bestemmelser for Luftfart)

BLs (Instructions for Airtraffic) is the law document for flying in Denmark instructing how to fly. It is a gathering of law documents that sets the required standards for pilots, however it is identical to ATC rules, and hence a great source of learning the correct rules. 

 BLs will tell you: 

 

 Rules concerning flying 

 General laws concerning controlling, such as airspace, clearances, etc. 

 General approved Phraseology 

 

 ATS Instructions will NOT tell you: 

 

 Local regulations 

 Tips and tricks 

 Anything VATSIM related 

 Controller specific rules  

 

 There are many of these documents so we have done you a favor and included the relevant ones and highlighted all that is considered relevant for VATSIM. 

 The documents should be studied as you are waiting to commence Pre-Training (1st Stage). Later once you start training the Pre-Training course will reference these documents from time to time.
