CDM phraseology
Standard phraseology for CDM. Replace the times and callsigns with the actual values.
Clearance delivery
Flight has a CTOT
ATC: "ICE123, cleared to Copenhagen via ..., squawk 1234. Slot 1430."
Pilot: "Cleared to Copenhagen ..., squawk 1234, slot 1430, ICE123."
The pilot must read back the slot. Take-off must be between 1425 and 1440 (-5/+10).
Pilot asks about their start-up time
ATC: "ICE123, expect start-up at 1415."
Start-up
TSAT is dark green (within the window)
ATC: "ICE123, start-up approved."
TSAT is light green (pilot is early)
ATC: "ICE123, expect start-up at 1415, call me back at 1410."
Set ASRT and try Ready TOBT to see if an earlier TSAT is available.
An earlier TSAT becomes available
ATC: "ICE123, start-up approved." (or) "ICE123, new start-up time 1408."
TSAT has expired (blank)
ATC: "ICE123, your start-up time has expired. Update your TOBT on the VDGS, or advise when ready."
If the pilot is ready now, use Ready TOBT and give the new TSAT.
CTOT issues
Flight will miss its CTOT
ATC: "ICE123, you will not make your slot. Standby for a new slot."
The CDM server issues a new CTOT once the TOBT is updated.
CTOT has changed
ATC: "ICE123, revised slot 1450."
Taxi or take-off with a CTOT
ATC: "ICE123, taxi to holding point runway 10. Your slot is 1430."
Do not give take-off clearance more than 5 minutes before the CTOT.
